Roshni is going to share with you a story that is very close to her heart. It
is about a happy go lucky girl. She was sure about making it
big in her life but never really reflected on it. She chose to
graduate in Commerce as Science was not her area of interest and she didn’t
know how Arts would add value to her career. She graduated in Commerce with a Certification in Computer Programming & Application. The certification helped her get into a wonderful company. She witnessed all of this without being aware or having clarity if this is the career she wanted. She loved her first job
and was so excited that she put in extra hours to learn more. One day a senior
person at workplace told her something she couldn't forgot all her
life. He said “Work smart, not hard”.
Thereafter, she has changed her roles and companies like anyone from her generation does. Every place she worked in after her first job was something she couldn’t relate to. As for her first job she had nothing to draw a parallel with. So, she perceived it to be the best choice she had made. Basically, her career choices didn't resonate with her.
One fine day, she discovered her ideal career. She had never felt so energized and happier before. It improved her focus and performance to such an extent that she surprised others including herself. In the process she had lost 10 years of her career trying to figure out what she wanted her career to be. This is when she reaffirmed that her vision would be to partner with others to have a super career that would include having a balance with Mind, Body, Heart and Spirit.
